The hotel has its strengths and weaknesses. The rooms are nicely decorated but small and lacking ventilation. The presence of unsupervised children in the gym area was concerning. On the positive side, the location is excellent, and the common areas are spacious with plenty of entertainment options.
I must say, my stay at this hotel was quite a mixed experience. On one hand, the rooms were spacious enough for two adults and conveniently close to the ski locker room with handy heaters for boots. However, it was a bit of a tight fit trying to store three pairs of skis and poles. The location was excellent with easy access to the slopes, but the dining experience left much to be desired with quite a disaster every day.
The hotel offers typical French ski accommodation, functional yet a bit dated. The rooms have limited storage but provide plenty of hot water and a powerful shower. The location is ideal for skiing in Val Claret, with close proximity to the slopes and chair lifts. The dining options are decent but lack variety, and the daily offerings can become repetitive. The service staff is friendly and attentive, although the hotel would benefit from a refurbishment.
